Who We Are

Founded in 2007, partners Nancy Elam and her niece Jessica Cull set out to create a full service commercial and residential interior design firm. Today Design Link is recognized as a leading resource for quality interior design, known for creating stunning spaces and long-term client relationships.

Design Link is certified as a Kentucky Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise. Our team of talented designers combines several decades of design experience and solid industry relationships. Our focus on education allows us to keep up with the latest in energy and environmental design concepts and allows us to tackle varied projects, regardless of scope or complexity.

We manage our projects completely from initial design concept through final implementation. No matter the size of the project, our goal is to make the process as seamless as possible for you.

All projects have their challenges. We minimize the impact on you by using our experience to find creative solutions. And because we work with the very best vendors out there, most problems are avoided in the first place. That said, we make sure you're aware of the progress and the timeline. Our goal is that you should never feel out of the loop.

Meet The Designers


  • Founding Partner

    Nancy began her career in the fashion industry. She received a BFA degree in Fashion Merchandising and Business. Over twenty years ago she took her business and design savvy back to her family roots in interiors.

    In 2006, Nancy became a founding partner of Design Link. She has extensive experience in both residential and commercial design. She has consulted on numerous projects with well-known local architects and builders. Her work has been published on a local and national level in several popular shelter magazines. Publications include Tops in Lexington, Southern Living, and Traditional Home.

  • Jessica is a 2007 graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Design with a BA in Interior Design. In her role as a partner, she has spent the last twelve years helping make Design Link one of the premier design firms in Lexington, KY.

    Jessica has both NCIDQ and LEED AP certifications. Her portfolio includes but is not limited to, medical facilities, financial institutions, nursing homes, administrative and commercial offices, and retail spaces.

    In addition to being a sought-after commercial interior designer, Jessica is noted for her high-end residential interiors, which she will take on upon special request.
